RISE (Research, Innovation, Society & Entrepreneurship) is IIIT-Bangalore's flagship annual open house event that brings together researchers, industry leaders, students, and innovators. Keynote Speaker
Mr. Anand Rangarajan
VP Engineering, Google DeepMind
Mr. Anand joined Google in 2008 (Gmail Ads, YouTube) and moved to Bangalore in 2013 to lead Enterprise, Search, and Google Pay teams. Now focused on large-scale Al, his background includes networking and the acquisition of Sahasra Networks by Cypress. An IIT Madras and Stanford alum, he enjoys chess, running, puzzles, Sanskrit, and classical music. He and his cofounder also nurture their two "startups" (aged 17 & 14).
